
Neil Maybury was educated at King Edwards School, Birmingham before obtaining his LL.B from the University of Birmingham. He then joined Clifford Turner (now Clifford Chance) and was admitted as a solicitor in 1969.
Neil has specialised in Intellectual Property and Information Technology since the early 1970's. He has specialised in the Law relating to Patents, Trademarks, Copyright, Designs, Confidential Information and IT, both contentious and non-contentious. In particular, he has experience in dealing with brand management including protection and exploitation. He has specific experience in certain industry sectors such as engineering, aerospace, automotive, electronics and textiles, both in the UK and Internationally.
In addition to a number of non-executive Directorships, Neil was for many years on the Legal Advisory Board to the Federation Against Software Theft and numerous other Intellectual Property related Committees and Boards.
